Hey Star Trek fans! Next Tuesday, I'll be interviewing Gil Mosko. Star Trek fans may recognize his name from the credits of some of your favorite shows and movies. Mr. Mosko was a makeup artist on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager, as well as a number of Star Trek films. He and other members of the makeup team were nominated for eight Emmy Awards, and he won a number of them! Straight from Mr. Mosko himself:

I am a makeup artist (5-Emmy Awards), and I ran the Star Trek Makeup Lab for 6-years. I did all the life casts of the actors' faces, molded all the sculptures, and ran all the foam prosthetics. I wan also personal makeup artist to Michael Dorn, "Mr Worf." Not confined to only Mr. Worf, I did so much makeup on those shows--Star Trek TNG, Star Trek DS9, Star Trek Voyager, and four of the films.

You can read more about Mr. Mosko and his work here, on Memory Alpha.

If you have any questions you want to ask him, now's your chance! I will be conducting the interview over email, so I can send any question you have directly to him. Simply post your question in the comments section below and, if it's approved, you'll get an answer from Mr. Mosko. Questions should focus on his work as a makeup artist.

I'm looking forward to hearing your questions. Be sure to post by the end of Monday, October 28th!
