The Xindi Aquatics are a race of sentient aquatic multi-limbed creatures, one of the six original species of Xindi.
They are complicated and enigmatic, and are known to overanalyze, taking an excruciatingly long period of time to come to decisions. It was once said that it was possible to count the stars in the sky quicker than for Aquatics to come to decisions. They respond better to visual stimuli, and are extremely suspicious of the spoken word. They admire boldness and confidence, and treat harsher tones with suspicion. When using the past tense, they switch to sonar. (ENT: "The Council", "Countdown")
They were originally against building the Xindi Weapon; they changed their minds after the Sphere-Builders presented a visual record of their future world's destruction. Their representative to the Xindi Council is a member of an extremely wealthy dynasty and wields considerable power within the Xindi hierarchy.
